We build automation, and then we run it.
Coldsilver is a small studio in Delft. We design and operate systems that do real work in production, on real money, and we answer for them when they break. Sophie is the product that came out of it.
What we build
Customer-service agents
The line the company started on. An agent that reads every inbound message, finds the real answer in your own systems, and resolves the case in your voice, with the judgment calls routed to a person.
E-commerce operations
The unglamorous middle of a store, where money leaks: refunds issued twice, orders cancelled on one platform and not the other, stock that disagrees with itself.
Finance back office
Invoicing, dunning, bookkeeping intake and reconciliation, wired to the accounting system you already use rather than a replacement for it.
Marketing intelligence
Ad accounts audited and operated against what actually converts, with every change logged and reversible.
Integrations and internal tools
The systems that should talk to each other and do not, and the small internal tool nobody sells because it only makes sense for you.
Operating AI in production
Running what you or someone else already built: monitoring, guards, escalation, and the discipline that keeps it from failing silently.
How we work
Operating Sophie for real customers, on real money, taught us a way of working. It turned out the discipline was the product, not any single tool.
Snapshot before you change
Nothing is modified in production without a saved state to go back to.
Validate before you ship
Changes are tested against real cases, not the happy path we imagined.
Explicit approval before production
Money movement and customer-facing actions wait for a person to say yes.
Never fail silently
A failure surfaces in monitoring, not in a complaint from your customer three days later.
We are small, which means you talk to the people doing the work. The person who built it is the person who answers when it needs to change.
A deployment we can talk about
Client work stays anonymous on principle. We will walk you through the specifics on a call.
Full-inbox support for a UK and EU fashion brand
Roughly fifty cases a day, around fifteen hundred a month, which is about 1.25 full-time of work. Tight margins, and return shipping ate a real part of order value. Orders ran through a storefront and a separate payment platform that did not always agree with each other.
We built cross-system order investigation, replies in the brand's voice, a negotiation ladder for returns, and money execution behind guards that were verified against the real processor, idempotent, and owner-checked. Flagged senders routed to humans with the full context attached.
- Around 80% of return requests resolved without a shipping label issued.
- Around 99% uptime, with failures surfacing in monitoring rather than in complaints.
- Cost a fraction of the hire it replaced.
Tell us what should not need a human
We will tell you honestly whether automation fits, and show you a real anonymised deployment. No deck unless you ask for one.
